Welcome to my
fansite about one of Ireland's most
inspiring and greatest composers, Gerard
Fahy.
He is the one
that inspired me to make a website about
him when I first saw the magnificent
Irish Dance show Tara.
The music is sparkling, haunting and
cheerful. The show was outstanding and
after the show it was possible to meet
Ger and the other performers.
I went back for
the show very soon and decided to make a
website because I wanted more people to
share in the same emotions as I did and
still do. I went back many times to see
Ger perform, either in Tara or with his
band Furry Village. Even went to Ireland
(Galway) to see him perform in the new
show by Chris Kelly and Mairin Fahy (sister
and former Riverdance violinist) Trad on
the Prom.
